Want to find a rewards programs that is worth your time and your efforts? Do you want to get rewards that are really worth it and that don’t take that many points or that long to redeem? Well guess what, I have perfect rewards program for you. The programs name is Recyclebank and you may have heard about it from friends or seen it posted by someone on Facebook.
Recyclebank rewards has fast become one of FastCompany.com’s top 50 pick of the most innovative companies of this year. I love it and have been using it for the better part of a year and I have found it to be fun, fast, and easy to use. Plus I have learned alot too.
What Is Recyclebank
Recyclebank is a rewards program that rewards you for everyday green and ecofriendly actions you take. We’ve all signed up for those programs that promise so much but give so little, this site, does the opposite. The company headquarter’s are in New York City, but they also have offices in Philly and in London. And their soul purpose is to build awareness of simple ways to help the planet and make it fun and rewarding too.
How does it work
The best part about this program is that all the actions are non-invasive, take no time at all, and in fact you probably are already doing yourself. The actions come in the form of 2 second quizzes or 1 second pledges. Stuff like, you pledge to turn the lights off in a room when you leave them, will get you 5 points. Pledging to turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth get you another 5 points. Quizzes about recycling and other stuff get you 25 points or more. Plus you get the points whether you past the test or not. How cool is that?
The best, best part about this program is that points add up so incredibly quick. The point amount to get rewards is very low that you can redeem rewards almost immediately depend on what you are going for. For example, you can get coupons toward food (I just recently redeemed my points toward coupon for a free salad at McDonalds). There are also gift cards available. But for me, the bonus is magazine subscriptions. I just cashed out my points to get a free 1 year subscription to Entertainment Weekly and I am currently eying another subscription that I hope to get soon. This is a huge bonus to me since magazines can be kinda pricy and I am getting them for FREE.
Please do take my word for it and go check out this program out for yourself. You can do so at Recyclebank.com. You’ve got nothing to lose here, and so much cool stuff to gain. Plus you’re working to make the planet a better place every time you use it. It’s a win, win.
